The Bible came to life for President Christine Boatwright when she realized it told one, complete story—the story of Jesus Christ. A church girl from the get-go, Christine learned storytelling through her time as an award-winning journalist and academic writer. In her free time as a stay-at-home mom, she connects the dots between the narrative of the Old Testament, the prophets who lived it, and the God who never changes. Connect with her here.

Vice President Tammy Karasek uses humor and wit to bring joy and hope to every aspect in life. Her past, filled with bullying and criticism from family, is the driving force of her passion to always encourage and inspire others and give them The Reason to smile. She’s gone from down and defeated to living a “Tickled Pink” life as she believes there’s always a giggle wanting to come out! And desires that for others as well.

She’s the social media manager for the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. Also the founding president of ACFW Upstate SC and Word Weavers Upstate SC and past-president of Cross N Pens Writers Group. Inspired by the message of the Cross, Treasurer Keith Hoffman loves stories of redemption—Les Misérables, the Brothers Karamazov and A Tale of Two Cities among his favorites. He is currently finishing his own story of redemption, a tale of a wayward man who comes to faith through his meeting with various biblical characters in a different dimension. Two accompanying books will finish the trilogy.

When not moonlighting as a writer, he spends his days stopping fraud in the banking world. Keith also loves to travel with his family, exercise and reflect on the Word.

Secretary Tema Banner has been a voracious reader since her youth. She decided early on that writing and bringing her own stories to life would be a lifelong endeavor. She enjoys weaving the truths of God’s redemptive love into historical fiction with a splash of romance and a twist of suspense.

God has gifted her with a loving husband, two children, and four grandchildren who are the delight of her life. In her spare time, she gardens and digs into genealogy for nuggets to use in her stories. Connect with Tema here.
